I get a get the bulk of my makeup from drugstores or places like Target or Walmart. I am in those places very often, so drugstore makeup is very accessible for me. Also, I have found so many good products from drugstores (or drugstore-like department stores). I want to world to hear about these necessities, so I am sharing 8 drugstore makeup products worth repurchasing. I have been repurchasing some of these for over 10 years!
L'oreal True Match Super Blendable Blush
This blush is so amazing that I used it on my wedding day over 9 years ago! And If I can’t my favorite shade- Spiced Plum- in the store, I go store to store until I find it. I usually have luck at Walmart, but I see Ulta also carries it. But like I said, I am not in specialty stores like Ulta and Sephora on a regular basis. Although, I wish I could be!
My favorite thing about this blush is the shade, with it’s staying power at a close second. It also has the slightest bit of shimmer to it, which contributes to a rosy glow. I can’t live without this blush. This is possibly one of my favorite drugstore items worth repurchasing.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Concealer + Treatment
I have used this for years. And while I have ventured out and tried other brands, I keep coming back to this Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer to really brighten up my tired eyes. I use the light shade, and it is just a slight bit lighter than my foundation. It’s got the perfect amount of yellow pigment to wake up my entire face. I do wish it would depuff a little. I have seasonal allergies that really affect my eyes. I hate it!
NYX Mineral Set It Don't Fret It Face Powder
A little of this Set It Don’t Fret It powder goes a long way, and it is perfect for touch-ups throughout the day. I use it on my t-zone and on my forehead near my hairline, and it immediately takes away any shine. Plus, it conceals, and it never looks cakey. I am on my second round with this one, and I won’t be switching to a different powder any time soon. The price is right, and it keeps my makeup in place and shine at bay.
NYX Tinted Brow Mascara
In the past, I’ve used L’Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper, and I liked that as well. (So I guess technically there are 9 drugstore makeup products worth repurchasing.) But the NYX Tinted Brow Mascara ‘s color is a little more pigmented. I am on my second round with this one, with no signs of switching to another yet. It helps me feel put together even if I don’t have time to do a full face of makeup or color in my brows with powder. My only qualm is that since it is so concentrated, it can be a little messy at times if you hit outside of your brow line, but cleanup is easy.
Covergirl Professional Super Thick Lash Mascara
This one is comparable to a high-end mascara. It works extremely well for being so inexpensive- $7.99 for a two-pack! It adds volume and lengthens, and it doesn’t flake! I just wish it would last as long as some high-end ones. You have to replace it a little before 2 months of use, but the price is so right.
Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick
This one is a gem, and I use it on a regular basis. The combination of pigment and moisture is more than ideal, and it lasts for hours! Here it is on my lips, and you can read more about it here.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick
This is one of the best lipsticks I have ever tried. EVER. I have it in 3 shades, and I am headed for more. Just like the Neutrogena stick above, this lipstick doesn’t require a layer of balm underneath. The pigment is perfect, as well, with a satin finish. (The item description says matte, but I wouldn’t call it matte at all.) I featured two of these lipsticks in my recent post, Favorite Festive Lipstick Shades for the Holiday Season, and I also have a nude shade.
NYX Butter Gloss
I have this is a purple shade, which I also featured in my festive lipstick post. I have never had a gloss like this before. It is way more pigmented than any other gloss I’ve ever owned. It lasts for hours and isn’t sticky at all. I can’t wait to try a nude shade and see how it compares to my other neutral glosses.
That’s what’s up in beauty today. These items would make great stocking stuffers! Have you tried any of these drugstore makeup products? Do you have any favorites that aren’t on my list? I would love to try them, so please comment below!
