Thrifty Thursday: Chapter 2

Hey, everyone!  It’s finally Thrifty Thursday!  Today, it’s all about the lacy cream tank I got for less than $9.00!

Sometimes, the trick for snagging chic, on-trend clothing is hitting the Juniors’ section.  I find that oftentimes, those items are priced a little bit more reasonably, and a lot of them look almost identical to the items for sale in the Women’s department.  So unless you are really stuck on having something in a big name brand, browse the Juniors’ section.  You might be surprised!

This Mudd High-Low Racerback Tank Top from Kohl’s is super summery and beachy.  I love that you could wear it to the actual beach over a swimsuit or dress it up with accessories and your favorite pair of shorts or jeans.  You could even layer a colorful cami underneath for extra pop.

My favorite part of the tank is the delicate lace detail, with the cut of it coming in at a close second.  I find that tops that are cut slightly shorter in the front are really flattering.  I chose to wear patterned denim shorts to make the outfit more interesting.  I added gold-toned accessories and sandals and a boho bag, and then topped the look off with bright lipstick.TTCh2Accessories2TTCh2AccessoriesTTCh2BraceletsTTCh2Makeup

The possibilities are endless.  I really think this top looks pricier than it actually is.  Here are the pricing details:

  • Retails for $24.
  • On sale for $16.99
  • Paid $8.55 after Kohl’s Cash and RewardsTTCh2Receipt

I mean, are you kidding me?  This is amazing, right?!  And as a side note, the Mudd brand is such a blast from my past.  Mudd Jeans are basically the only jeans I wore as a teenager.  Flares and bellbottoms were the thing back then!

That’s what’s up on this Thrifty Thursday.  Do you think this is a good deal?  Would you buy this top?

Thanks for reading!  I hope you enjoyed the post.  Don’t forget to like, comment, and share, and follow me on social media for sneak peaks and other tidbits!
