Hey, everyone! I hope the weekend is treating you better than well. I was able to go to take a ride to the shore with my girls, sister-in-law, and mom. Total girls’ day out! It was a beautiful, sunny day- not too hot or chilly with the perfect amount of breeze. I couldn’t have bought better weather in a bottle!
We spent most of our time browsing the boutiques and shops. You can always find the most unique items- clothes, decor, jewelry, novelties- at the boardwalk. My wallet never stays closed for very long there! Haha. Because of all of that, we were only strolling the sandy shoreline for a short amount of time, so my outfit had to be suitable for the beach AND the shopping.
I am so in love with this crochet off-the-shoulder top by LC Lauren Conrad. It’s light and airy, and you don’t have to worry about it sliding down since it has spaghetti straps. I decided to pair it with cropped, stretchy Hudson jeans, an assortment of bracelets, and Kate Spade sunglasses. I had thought about wearing a bold necklace, but I decided it took away from the detail of the top. I think I made the right choice!
And as usual, I don’t wear my hair down too often, and especially not at the salty, windy shore. My hair is so fine that it would braid itself with the slightest passing breeze! So I just went for a soft, pinned-up bun.
Just look at the perfect weather! It was a gorgeous day, and we had a lot of fun.
What do you think of my outfit? Would you wear it to the beach on a mild, early summer day?
That’s what’s up in summer style today. Thanks for reading!
